Ruth Mulan Chu Chao CenterAccolades and excitement were buzzing through the air recently as the Harvard Business School leadership, the Chao family and other officials signed their names to the last beam to be put into place to top off the new Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center. The Center is designed as a space where emerging international leaders will come together to develop a greater understanding of each other and form cooperative strategies to improve the world. It is a fitting monument to Ruth Mulan Chu Chao and her husband Dr. James S.C. Chao, who spent so many years of their lives engaged in building bridges between their Asian homeland and the US, and empowering others through educational achievement. This western tradition “topping off” ceremony was reported in the China Daily.
